WHAT IS IRVINE FEEDS THE WORLD?
Irvine Feeds the World (IFTW) is our annual, family-friendly, meal-packaging extravaganza where volunteers from every corner of Irvine, including churches, families, local businesses, the Irvine Police Department, OC Fire Authority, and more, come together to help end hunger.
Why We Serve
Globally, 1 in 7 children suffer from the devastating effects of food insecurity. Right here in Orange County, 1 in 8 children and 1 in 10 older adults experience food insecurity. This need isn’t far away; it’s in our neighborhoods, our schools, and our senior centers. That’s why IFTW exists: to mobilize our community into action, one meal at a time.
What Happens at the Event?
Volunteers gather to pack tens of thousands of nutritious, shelf-stable meals in just a few hours. In June 2026, our goal is to pack 30,000 meals, and we need your help. The atmosphere is electric, the energy contagious, and the impact powerful. It’s a hands-on, high-impact way to give back.

$0.30 per meal: just $50 feeds 167 kids; $100 feeds 333
Irvine Feeds the World began as part of our Annual Citywide Serve Day, but it’s become so meaningful to the community that we’re expanding it into a standalone summer event. And while we’ve historically sent meals around the world, we’re shifting our focus locally, prioritizing Orange County families and individuals facing hunger.

How You Can Get Involved
Volunteer: We’re seeking 150+ volunteers—individuals, families, churches, youth groups, and more! (Keep an eye out for volunteer sign-ups)
Sponsor: Businesses, churches, and individuals can help cover the $10K needed to fund the meals.
Give: $0.30 feeds one child. Every dollar matters.
We’re currently looking for a venue to host this June 2026 event.
