LOVE IRVINE IS RECOGNIZED AT THE SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM AWARDS

Something meaningful happened recently, and we want to share it with you.

Love Irvine was nominated for the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards (SOV), an annual celebration hosted by OneOC that brings together nonprofits, businesses, and community members to honor individuals and organizations who go above and beyond in service to Orange County.

Our President and CEO, Curtis, had the honor of attending the event to represent Love Irvine, and wants to thank Irvine Councilmember Mike Carroll for nominating Love Irvine.

What are the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards?

Each year, OneOC recognizes the people and organizations who are quietly, faithfully doing the work — showing up for their neighbors, giving their time, and strengthening the fabric of our communities.

2026 marks a milestone: the 50th Anniversary of the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards. For half a century, this event has lifted up the volunteers who make Orange County a better place to live, work, and belong. We are humbled to be part of this extraordinary legacy.

Why This Matters

We believe that service is one of the most powerful ways we can love our neighbors. When we volunteer, we're building relationships, restoring dignity, and choosing to see the people around us. Being recognized alongside Orange County's most dedicated volunteers is a reminder that what we do together matters. Irvine is made better when we serve each other.

Want to Be Part of the Story?

If you've been thinking about getting involved, there's no better time. Whether it's through our Food Box Program, one of our upcoming volunteer opportunities, or a future community event — there's a place for you here.

Together, we can keep building a city where everyone belongs.
