Citywide Serve Day is powered by you! Your ideas, your passion, and your willingness to make Irvine a better place. But if the phrase "project proposal" sounds too formal or intimidating, don’t worry. We’ve realized that “project idea” is a better way to describe what we’re looking for.
If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should help with that,” then you just might have the perfect project idea.
What Counts as a Project Idea?
A project idea is simply a way to serve others in the city. It can be small and simple or big and bold. It might involve a group of volunteers or just a few people. The point is to meet a need—and Love Irvine will support you in making it happen.
Here are a few questions to help spark inspiration:
Is there a group or cause in Irvine that could use a little extra love?
Do you know of a local nonprofit, park, school, or senior center that could benefit from extra hands?
Is there a way you’d like to serve, but don’t know where to start?
You don’t need to be a nonprofit leader. You don’t need to have a team already. You just need an idea and a heart to help.
